Pakistan's Mohammad Haris has made a remarkable ascent in the ICC Men's T20I batting rankings, climbing 210 places to secure the 30th position with 580 rating points. This significant leap follows his explosive performance in the final T20I against Bangladesh, where he scored the second-fastest T20I century by a Pakistani batter, contributing to Pakistan's 3-0 series whitewash.
Other Pakistani players also saw notable improvements. Emerging middle-order batter Hasan Nawaz rose 57 places to 45th with 540 points, while Saim Ayub climbed four spots to 61st after his impactful innings in the third T20I. Captain Agha Salman advanced 42 places to 75th, reflecting his consistent contributions throughout the series.
However, not all changes were positive. Senior batters Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan each slipped three spots to 12th and 13th, respectively, while Fakhar Zaman dropped 10 places to 87th.
In the bowling rankings, Abbas Afridi made a significant jump of 18 places to 19th with 605 points, and vice-captain Shadab Khan surged 24 places to 59th. Conversely, Haris Rauf and Shaheen Afridi experienced declines, now positioned at 19th and 36th, respectively.
Globally, Australia's Travis Head continues to lead the batting rankings, followed by India's Abhishek Sharma and England's Phil Salt. In bowling, New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy holds the top spot, with West Indies’ Akeal Hosein and India's Varun Chakaravarthy in second and third, respectively.
